The DeluxGear PinPoint Focus Assist works to assist your camera's auto-focus system in low lighting by emitting a small green laser beam on the subject. This laser beam is easily recognizable by your camera and makes focusing quick and easy in difficult lighting situations. With a range of 2.5' / 0.75m to 131.25' / 40m the PinPoint is useful in indoor situations and close-range outdoor situations.
The PinPoint Focus Assist attaches to your camera with a universal tripod mount and is manually controlled with a pressure sensitive activator button. It is also able to attach to tripod collars and most tripod quick releases. Height of laser beam is controlled by an azimuth adjustment slider bar. A self-contained power source takes 2 AAA batteries and provides up to 6 months of usage under normal conditions. Constructed of ABS autograde plastic, the PinPoint is highly durable and built to function in difficult shooting conditions.
The laser beam complies with the US FDA laser safety regulations and is a Class II, green (532nm) DPSS diode with less than 1mW of power. Made in the USA from US and imported parts.
