The Hosa HSS-005 is a solid choice for a well priced quality cable. Powered monitor inputs and audio interface outputs are generally designed to be used with balanced cables. This is usually noted in the documentation, and in the case of the monitors printed directly on the unit. The benefit of a balanced cable would be superior rejection of RF into the cable vs. an unbalanced cable. This will come into play for longer cable runs.
