I actually bought this to put larger prayer cards in. The pages are sewn pretty well. I tested one by pulling on it slightly and it seemed durable enough to not come apart. The cover is vinyl with kind of a matt leather-like feel to it and seems like it will tolerate being opened and closed on a semi-regular basis. The closure is made of velcro and stays closed well and seems like it will last for a while. All in all a nice item.
What to do with all those school and other photos now that my children are grown and beginning their own families? Keep one good copy and throw out the rest. These albums are perfect for that purpose and I'm also starting one for each of the grandchildren with my favorite photos of our time together. The album has a substantial number of pages but few enough to force me to keep only the best. You can't beat the price and the quality is excellent.
