The Redged RT-3 Professional Ball Head is a lightweight head for cameras that offers stability and precise positioning. Supporting heavy loads up to 22 lb, the RT-3 features separate knobs for locking the ball and the head's panoramic motion.
Once you establish proper framing, you can lock the ball to maintain the level and adjust only the pan positioning. With degree markers around its base, the RT-3 enables precise panoramic photography. The ball's high degree of spherical accuracy ensures smooth positioning.
The RT-3 head's dual-locking quick-release element prevents inadvertent disengagement of the camera from the head, keeping your gear secure. An RQR-2 PL quick-release plate is included. The head connects to a tripod via either a 1/4"-20 or a 3/8"-16 stud – a reducer bushing is included to convert the larger thread for 1/4"-20 connections.
