    Atomos ATOMDTP001 reviews

Spare D-Tap Dummy Battery is rated 3.2 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Needs Custom Cable Other reviewers are right, you need to butcher two cables together Why they made this with a FEMALE D-Tap connector is beyond me. You have to create a male-male D-Tap cable, which aside from being a little dangerous, is just plain stupid. Looking back I wish I just used one of the free/included-with-the-ninja battery plates and got a DTap adapter in one of those battery styles.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Can't use!!! Sony batt sub better? Haven't gotten to use this yet. Ordered 3 months ago, got here a week ago, no one makes a p2p-tap cable and the site says to ask the vendor for it. Vendor has no clue and neither does Atomos. Prepare the soldering iron and wire strippers and spend $ for another 2 cables you can splice with the required p-tap terminals. Arrrgghh!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect solution This is what you've been looking for if you use the Samurai on 12v power. I bought my d-tap to four pin xlr cable from FilmTools. Even if you have to make your own cable, knowing how to solder a connector is a basic elementary skill any professional should have.
