The Surefoot Adapter for Manfrotto Plate from Jobu Design is a long plate that attaches to the bottom of a Manfrotto RC2 quick-release plate. This setup enables you to mount your camera & telephoto lens in a gimbal head from Jobu Design – or in an Arca-style compatible head from another manufacturer. The Surefoot Adapter is designed for long lenses that do not have collars (such as a Tamron 28-200).
With etched millimeter markings along its base, the adapter can be used to properly balance most camera/lens combinations in a gimbal head. Best of all, you won't have to remove your Manfrotto plate, so you can easily switch to shooting handheld or on a tripod.
Note:
Does not include a Manfrotto RC2 plate. You will not be able to switch to portrait mode with this type of setup.
