Bescor LED-200K Overview

This is a set of two upgraded Bescor LED-200K light panels and stands. The upgrade has transformed these lights to include 304 5mm LEDs each. Each panel now provides a 300W equivalent output with a 5500K color temperature.

When you receive these lights, you will find an "LED-220K" label on them instead of "LED-200K," but this is only to indicate that they are the upgraded version. As part of the upgrade, two orange correction filters have been included in addition to the existing soft white diffusers. The light stands offer a maximum height of 74". The two panels total to approximately 6 lb.

The first couple of months were fine but the ball joint that holds the light in place became less effective. When we place the light in position now and tighten the screw, it just flops over and does not stay in position.

Lights came very quickly, packed very well and in working condition. When I researched what kind of light I need Ive read different opinions regarding these lights. I decided to try and didnt get disappointed.  I am making photos in small studio for my wifes eBay business and for this purpose these lights are more than enough. They are bright and can be tilted to the angle I need. Another plus is that they are light and can be moved with no efforts. As LED lights, they dont give much heat as it was mentioned in earlier reviews.

Are the AC power plugs available for other countries like Australia? In the photo it looks like a US-style plug.

While we do not power cables for the AC adapters in this kit for use in Australia, we do offer the Watson Adapter Plug - 3 Prong USA to 3 Prong Australia/Argentina (Type I) B&H # WAAPGUSAA which can be added to the included cables. Please see the image below for reference.

At full power, the HP-3ATM battery would power the LED-200 panel for 2 hours.

Yes, the units are actually a 12 volt system. Any 12 volt Bescor system (SLM5, MM7, FP12VATM) w/ a CLC 200 cord will run the light.-Bescor

Im looking to replace my soft box/florescent bulb setup to more closely match the color temp of my tungsten/with full blue cbt gels with this or similar LED setup. The green skin tone correction is just too much to deal with.Can this be recommended to achieve a more consistent color temp across both light sources?
