There is no door on the GoboPac 70. This is a 2 section baffle.

Is it soundproof on the outside

The Clearsonic gobo70 is not sound proof. It is a 2 section reflection filter used to isolate vocals in a lively room. You may consider the Clearsonic Isopac G (B&H# CLIPG)which would be a fully enclosed booth with a lid system. There will be about 50-60% sound reduction, inside and out.
