It features parts and build techniques from the Neve 2254, 2264, and 33609 compressor modules. More specifically, the LTD-2 uses the control circuit from the 80-series Neve compressors, and the Class A amps and transformers from the Neve 2254 and 10-series compressors. It essentially borrows the best features from various classic dynamics processors to deliver something new.
