does this work with sony camcorders that need the infolithium circuit in the battery? sony trv27 didn't work with kastar brand

Watson does not state that the Watson NP-FM50 Lithium-Ion Battery Pack (7.4V, 1400mAh) is compatible with the Sony DCR-TRV27; however the battery is the correct mount and is compatible with other Sony camcorder models.
