These arrived, I charged them up. They work well on my Preston HU3. The battery readout on the back is handy.

I use these with my Amaran lights. They also have a convenient indicator on the back of the battery letting you know how much charge they have.

What is the difference between the 4200mAh and 5400mAh battery, everything else being the same?

The difference as you can see is 1200 mAh. This means the 5400 mAh battery will last longer powering a device than the 4200 mAh battery. Depending on the device this could be another 1/2 hour to 2 hours longer.
