The ATTO Technology ExpressSAS R680 8-Port 6 Gbps SAS/SATA RAID Adapter from G-Technology is an external RAID Adapter that adds high performance RAID protection to direct attached SAS and SATA JBOD storage. The ExpressSAS R680 gives cost effective and reliable transition from 3 to 6 Gbps SAS/SATA storage infrastructures in general IT, media and entertainment environments. It also gives transition of 6 Gbps SAS/SATA connectivity to Direct Attached Storage via 8 external ports.

With transfer rates of up to 1200 Mbps per port, the ExpressSAS R680 is ideal for workflows such as digital content creation, streaming video and audio, transactional databases, Email and web servers. The RAID stack and exclusive latency management features help you create, share and protect data and digital assets more effectively.
