Will this plate also fit onto the similar looking Pearstone battery charger base that B&H sold previously ?

Yes, I use it on both the Pearstone Dual Charger and the Watson Compact Charger. Pearstone and Watson brand nearly identical. The manufacturer dropped the Pearstone several years ago. The NB-10L plate works well with both the Canon battery and the equivalent from B&H. However, I did have to modify plates for the Canon NB6L battery to fit the equivalent off-brand battery that B&H sells. That was easily accomplished with a Dremel tool.
