There are no problems with the batteries. I bought two. I partially charged the batteries just to make sure that they worked. No issues. After 14+ days, the charges are holding at the same level when I charged them originally. Happy with the batteries. They fit, the D90 reads them correctly. They charge quickly. They are not OEM, but Nikon does not make the battery anymore. Of all the batteries for sale on the internet, the Watson battery has the best and most consistent rating. From what I read, Watson uses first quality materials and stop gap safety features like over heat protection. So far so good.

does the adapter plate for en-el3 work with my current nikon charger? Nikon d80

The Nikon Battery Charger MH-18a, which was original equipment with the Nikon D80, will charge either the Nikon EN-EL3e battery or the Watson EN-EL3e battery without any need for an adapter plate. No, the adapter plate does not work with the Nikon MH-18a charger. If you are using a Watson Compact AC/DC battery charger, then you will need a Watson Battery Adapter Plate for EN-EL3 / EN-EL3e.

yes you can and it takes about the same charge time that the Nikon enel3e takes which proves the Watson battery cells are of pro quality.

The Watson EN-EL3e Lithium-Ion Battery Pack would be inserted into the same standard battery compartment on the bottom of the Nikon D90 DSLR camera where the original Nikon battery is inserted. As the original Nikon battery is 1500 mAh and the Watson battery is 1450mAh, the original Nikon battery would provide slightly more power compared to the Watson battery.

The EN-EL3e Rechargeable Li-ion Battery Product 25334 is no longer available at B&H, and Nikon lists it as out of stock. It is likely no longer made, as the cameras that use it are also no longer made.
