The RocketRAID 2640 x4 SGL 4 Channel PCI-Express x4 SAS RAID Controller supports either 15,000 RPM SAS hard drives for performance or lower cost SATA hard drives for capacity. It also supports up to 4 SAS/SATA HDDs and SSDs in a variety of RAID and non-RAID configurations that includes single disk, JBOD, RAID 0, 1, 5, and 10 and all the major PC operating systems including Windows 2008/Vista, Linux distributions, Mac OS X and FreeBSD.
