The Telemetrics 55D-CA Camera Adapter with OpticalCon Fiber Connector is designed for use with the 55D Coax / Fiber Link Camera Control System. This camera adapter with the OpticalCon fiber connector is mounted at the back of a Panasonic HPX-300 HD Camcorder.
You can use the fiber cable (when connected to the fiber link) to supply HD-SDI to the switcher, or a coaxial cable to supply power, as well as control and convey signals to and from the base station. If you are using an on-camera LCD monitor, the viewfinder connector can be used to supply power, return video, or tally.
