Zacuto EVF Quick Release Mount

The EVF Quick Release Mount from Zacuto consists of a ZUD 1/4"-20 Quick Release Mount and a Zicro Mini Universal Quick Release Mount. It is used to quickly re-position the EVF to use a different shooting method.

The ZUD 1/4"-20 Quick Release Mount is used to attach or detach the articulating arm from the camera. It converts 1/4"-20 or 3/8"-16 screws to 0.59" (15mm) rods and allows them to fit into Zacuto Z-Release components like the Z-mount, 0.59" (15mm) Z-locks, Z-Mounts and other Zacuto 0.59" (15mm) locking devices. You can also screw-in a male rod at the end of the ZUD Mount and create an extension for your articulating arm.

The Zicro Mini allows you to attach camera accessories such as the EVF and the articulating arms to a 0.59" (15mm) rod via a 1/4"-20 screw hole. It supports devices such as an LED light or a small sound recorder. It is not recommended for monitors larger than 6" (152.40mm).

You can attach the ZUD 1/4"-20 Mount to a standard 1/4"-20 male screw on top of the Hotshoe Ball Mount and attach the Zicro Mini to the bottom of your EVF via the 1/4"-20 screw and slide it onto the ZUD. The lever on the Zicro Mini can be turned to secure the EVF and turned again to release it.
