The Blofeld Desktop Synth Module by Waldorf features Waldorf's legendary Analog Modeling Technology and 60 MB of onboard sample memory. That kind of built-in storage allows you to import your own selection of samples and manipulate them using the Blofeld, 16-part multi-timbral virtual-analog synthesis engine. You'll also be able to load and play Micro Q sounds and it comes bundled with Spectre, a free tool for creating and transferring sample content.
It also has 25 voice polyphony, over 1000 factory patches and a programmable 16-step arpeggiator sure to excite and energize your audience and productions. But things don't end there; the Blofeld also features an on-board effects section and the classic Microwave II/XT/XTk wavetables.
Add that to its all-metal white enclosure, stainless steel rotaries, large graphic LED display and multiple oscillator and filter modulations and you've got yourself what is destined to become another Waldorf classic.

can this module be powered solely on USB? if possible
The Waldorf Blofeld - Desktop Synthesizer requires the included AC power supply and cannot be powered by USB.

Is there any solution to mount this gear in a rack stand?
Waldorf does not make a rackmount kit for the Blofeld desktop synthesizer. You may consider a pull-out rack shelf such as the the ARPOT1 Pullout Shelf from Odyssey Innovative Designs; B&H # ODARPOT1.
