The Rycote INV-BH InVision Microphone Suspension addresses the demand for a professional, Rycote-quality shockmount in the studio, conference settings and speech capturing applications.

The entire mount is comprised of two large InVision lyres with two clips that accommodate microphone bodies measuring 19 to 34mm in diameter. The lyres rest on a bar with a 3/8" threaded stand adapter at the base.

The stand adapter itself features an integrated cable clip for securing excess cable and minimizing noise. The unique lyre suspension is engineered with Hytrel for a virtually indestructible design that maximizes shock and noise suppression.

The InVision suspension system is available in various clip sizes to accommodate different microphones. The versatile 19 to 34mm mounting clips included with this system are intended for mounting a wide variety of microphones.

The Rycote INV-BH InVision Microphone Suspension addresses the demand for a professional, Rycote-quality shockmount in the studio, conference settings and speech capturing applications.

The entire mount is comprised of two large InVision lyres with two clips that accommodate microphone bodies measuring 19 to 34mm in diameter. The lyres rest on a bar with a 3/8" threaded stand adapter at the base.

The stand adapter itself features an integrated cable clip for securing excess cable and minimizing noise. The unique lyre suspension is engineered with Hytrel for a virtually indestructible design that maximizes shock and noise suppression.

Large Lyre Suspension for Boom Operation
The large lyre suspension webs measure 70mm high and 40mm wide to accommodate heavier microphones. This is ideal for static stand mounting as well as boom placement.
19 to 25mm Mounting Clips
The clips included with this system accommodate microphone diameters measuring between 19 to 25mm in diameter. The clips mount a wide variety of microphones that measure under 120mm long.
Hytrel Construction
The unique lyre suspension is engineered with Hytrel for a virtually indestructible design that maximizes shock and noise suppression.
Integrated 3/8" Threaded Stand Adapter
A 3/8" threaded stand adapter is featured at the base for microphone stand mounting.

Works With Sennheiser 8070 Mod

I purchased this Holder the Sennheiser 8070 Shotgun Mic. The front lyre blocks Slots and So I Reversed the handle for balance and installed a Rycote Lyre 82 on the front to support the Mic. I used 3 strips of velcro on the 82 to force the Mic to the top of the 82. This leaves a gap for the Slots while supporting the front of the Mic. Since the Slots are not blocked, then it minimizer the Covered Slot Effect. Works Great.

This is significantly better than the Rode offering for the NT4 and one of the only other options available. Seems well made.

Yes, Rycote INV-BH shockmount can be used with the Sennheiser MKH 416 shotgun microphone. The MKH 416 has a diameter of 19mm and the INV-BH can be used to support microphones that have a diameter of 19 to 34mm, so the INV-BH is a compatible shockmount for the MKH 416.

Will this work horizontally with the Sennheiser 8070 and will blocking the last holes affect Shotgun microphone operation?

can this be used on a camera cage to mount Sennheiser MKH8070 microphone?

The Rycote INV-BH InVision Microphone Suspension for Stand and Boompole Mounting is made ideally for mounting onto a boompole or mic stand. But you can use an adapter or spigot, like the Impact 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 Adapter Spigot, BH # IMCA112, to change the 3/8" threading on the bottom to 1/4"-20 to mount it onto a cage.

The Rycote INV-BH InVision Microphone Suspension for Stand and Boompole Mounting has a 3/8" female thread on the bottom. You can use the Rycote 037301 Extension Handle with Foam Hand Grip (B&H # RYEH) or the Auray Universal Microphone Pistol Grip (B&H # AUGRIP).
