The TD-30: Drum Sound Module for V-Drums by Roland is a drum sound module designed for the V-Drums V-Pro series. Included is over 1,000 sounds ideal for most any genre of music including rock, jazz, hip-hop, dance and more. It comes jam-packed with acoustic drum samples such as kicks, snares, cymbals, and percussion plus a seemingly endless supply of electronic drums and special effects. These presets combined with V-Edit functionality and powerful onboard effects give you access to infinite sound possibilities.
The TD-30 offers advanced trigger response, dynamics and positional sensing for the most authentic sound and feel. For example, when playing fast open rolls, flams, ghost-style and single-handed buzz rolls the sound remains continuous between each hit. Also, when playing a hi-hat fully open and then slowly closing it, the sound transitions smoothly as an acoustic hi-hat would. Enhanced DSP power now makes adjustment of ambience level possible. It features a dedicated fader to control the overall level of ambience while also allowing you to adjust the room size and/or mic position within a choice of room types including concert hall, studio, club, arena and more. Especially handy in the studio, the TD-30 allows you to choose from a large selection of snare drums, change the head type and tuning, adjust mic positioning, change the room shape and adjust both the overhead mic and room mic positions. As if that wasn't enough, each pad can have its own compressor and 3-band EQ and just when you think you have everything sounding just about right, throw on the stereo compressor and 4-band master EQ for a seriously professional, radio-ready sound.Wide Range of Sounds

Hi-Hat Control
When playing the hi-hat fully open and then slowly closing it, the sound transitions smoothly as an acoustic hi-hat would. Also, when playing in half-open or slightly open positions, the sound remains constant. The TD-30 also offers improved control of foot-closed sounds and foot splashes
Ambience Section
The TD-30 features enhanced DSP power making adjustment of ambience level possible. It features a dedicated fader to control the overall level of ambience while also allowing you to adjust the room size and/or mic position within a choice of room types including concert hall, studio, club, arena and more. It also offers a customized reverb specially created for snares, kicks and toms helping the drum sounds better sit in the mix

For studio usage, the TD-30 allows you to choose from a large selection of snare drums, change the head type and tuning, adjust mic positioning, change the room shape and adjust both the overhead mic and room mic positions. It also allows you enhance the drum sounds with the built-in effects and create ideal audio balance with the individual kit mixer
Powerful Onboard Effects
