The MPC Renaissance from Akai Professional fuses the legendary MPC layout and workflow with the power of a Mac or PC computer. The system is a fully integrated hardware/software system using the classic MPC hardware controls with an integrated pop-up display, coupled with the MPC Software that provides expandable production capabilities. A Vintage Mode changes the sound output of the system to the character of the MPC3000, MPC60, and more.
Hardware features include the classic MPC Note Repeat, MPC Swing and MPC transport control functions, while adding 16 Q-Link controls. Additionally the hardware functions as a four-channel USB 2.0 audio interface with a two-port USB hub built in. The software provides 64-track sequencing and a 6GB+ sound library, including all of the sounds of the classic MPC3000 and support for multiple sound formats.
