The Alesis Vortex USB/MIDI Keytar Controller with Accelerometer features 37 velocity keys and trigger pads for unrestricted, expressive keyboard playing on stage. The controller features both USB and MIDI connections, and is completely compatible with Mac, Windows and Apple iPad. The Vortex's accelerometer feature allows for motion triggered expression and control over sounds and visually expressive performances. The neck of the Vortex Keytar features an array of expressive controls that include thumb controls for volume slider and pitch-bend wheel, a MIDI assignable touch strip, and buttons for octave selection and sustain. The controller is USB bus powered, or powered with AA batteries or DC power adapter.
