The EPN-DK19 Rubber Eyepiece for Select Nikon Cameras from Vello is a replacement eyepiece for select Nikon SLR and DSLR cameras. The eyepiece provides a comfortable, round eyecup with which to utilize the camera's viewfinder and blocks unwanted light from entering the viewfinder. No, it does not have a retaining ring. You use the ring that comes with the original eyepiece that came with the camera.

This looks exactly like the rubber eyecup I have ...
This looks exactly like the rubber eyecup I have on my Canon F1n. My eyecup is old, hard, and has cracked. The screw on ring on the camera has 22mm threads. From the name of this eyecup I would guess that it might be sized for a 19mm eyepiece. Would it stretch enough to fit my retaining ring?
Sounds like a stretch to me. Pardon the pun. They are inexpensive so maybe give it a try but it isn’t really made for your application.
