The Grip Head With Hex Stud from Kupo is a grip head with four V-shaped jaws, and a non-slip aluminum friction disc with a hexagonal stud designed to be attached to Kupo's Convi or Super Viser Clamp. It's made of aluminum and steel, with a stealthy black powder coated finish.

Quality metal construction, smooth and solid operation, standard grip fitment. Mates perfectly with a Super Clamp, as expected. Couldn't be happier.
It's truly baffling to me why companies continue to make round connectors for the superclamps. The product is useful for lightweight items, but since the connector is round, attaching heavier items to this grip head will cause some give between it and the superclamp. You're probably saying, But it's a hex stud...how can there be any give? There's give because the hex stud bolt is too short, and the place where the superclamp secures to the connector is round. This really surprised me, since Kupo products tend to have better connectors than Manfrotto. However, this connector is again, just too short and oddly round where it needs to be flat.
