The Adjustable Gaffer Grip from Kupo is a quick-mount, multi-purpose steel clamp that will grab on most surfaces flat or round. The clamp has one fixed 5/8" baby stud and one 5/8" baby receiver with stud adapter.
The spring actuated jaws of the Gaffer Grip can be adjusted to accommodate flat or round rigging points with thicknesses of approximately 1 to 2". A screw adjustment mechanism on the bottom jaw adjusts the configuration of the clamp, while the other jaw carries the dual mounting options offered by the Gaffer Grip. At the end of the handle, a fixed 5/8" baby pin will accept small light fixtures or grip heads for rigging modifiers. A 5/8" receiver is also available and includes a removeable and reversible baby pin with both 1/4"-20 and 3/8-16" threaded studs for mounting cameras, small lights, microphones, and other gear. The Gaffer Grip gives a firm bite for a steady holder and its rubberized pads within its jaws prevent it from damaging surfaces while still providing optimum friction.
