I love my 4 way clamp. This stud attachment is one of many accessories available to multiply the use of your C Stand or Light Stand. I mounted my 17 Panasonic Broadcast monitor onto it using a Matthews Monitor Mount for a Baby (5/8) Spigot. Nice and secure. Only reason it got 4 stars is the metal is soft and the screw from the mount marked it up. It did not affect the functionality though.
