The Baby 5/8" Receiver is designed to be attached to any of the mounting locations on Kupo's 3-Way Clamp (KG900412) or 4-Way Clamp (KG900712) to accept any light fixture or accessory with a baby 5/8-inch receiver. The proprietary notch that slides into one of the mounting locations and is secured by turning the locking collar.

Does this work on a c stand to connect to a microphone mount?
Microphone mounts have more threads per inch so it is not intended to be compatible but I was curious so just tried screwing it onto my microphone mount and it does hold surprisingly well. Going to keep using it that way.
