My headline and rating was based on B & H's listing error. Originally, the listing stated the cable was coated with PVC. This was not the case. I pointed out the error to B & H and asked for a refund on the three cables and return shipping costs. B & H immediately corrected the error in their listing and as a courtesy, refunded the cost of the cables recieved and it was agreeded that I keep the cables. This is excellent customer service and the main reason why I will continue buying from B & H. In lieu of the PVC coating or sleeve, electrical tape was used to wrap the cable, crimps and loops. The tape will prevent scratches to the secured equipment. The cable is also necessary to stop the fall of a light and light modifier when the assembly is attached to a boom arm. The carabiner has an eyelet which retains the cable in position. Ensure that your light's bracket will allow for the threading of the cable. Otherwise, the cable will not help.
