I have only used this once as a test but it works. I mounted three flashes to it and one phottix receiver. Used a sync cord from the receiver to the adapter and all three flashes fired successfully. So far so good.

question
I received mine today. I'm using it with Nikon cameras/flashes and Vello Captain Radio trigger/receiver. The problem is it has turned my Captain into a dumb Lieutenant! The Dot Line Shoe allows no interface between the camera and flashes. No FP (HSS), no FV Lock, No TTL Ev Comp, hell, the flashes don't even know the film speed! Am I doing something wrong or is this item? It's like the only functional contact on the hot shoes is the X contact. Thanks!
I can't be of much help. But I use it with Canon 580 EX ll and Sunpak Digiflash 3000 flashes and Pocket Wizard radio triggers. (All Digital) and have had no problems.
