    FL-LSMD Light Stand (8') is rated 2.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Weak I bought this because of its light weight, but the sacrifice for that weight savings (and lower price) was too great. I guess it could work if you're only using it to hold a reflector or a small LED light, but this stand does not hold up to regular use with regular-sized heads (think 650 fresnel or Diva 400) or even just general travel in a stand bag. Over time, the thin tubes of metal start to form kinks due to the weight and stress of use or maybe even just over-tightening. These kinks cause the sections to get stuck, making it difficult to expand or collapse the stand. I've never had a problem with any avenger or arri stands of similar size. Don't be tempted by the price or lighter weight, those things are a waste of money.
