The Quadro installs in an available PCI Express 2.0 x 16 slot. It is compatible with all Mac Pros since the early 2008 revision of the Mac Pro. Mac OS X Snow Leopard or the later editions of Apple operating systems is required. Mac owners who use Windows via Boot Camp will also be able to take advantage of the Quadro's features. The card features a Dual-Link DVI output and a DisplayPort output, each of which can drive a high-resolution digital display. It also features a 3D stereo output, which allows you to use the card to output true 3D graphics.

SCRATCH Lab features fast, flexible, and automated simultaneous output to any popular delivery format, including Avid DNxHD (as MXF or QuickTime); QuickTime (MPEG-4, TIFF, JPEG, etc.); ProRes 422 and 444, and DPX. The software offers real-time tools for frame-rate conversion, image-resolution scaling and frame-accuracy to monitors, projectors, and tape decks using both DVI and SDI interfaces.
