JBL PRX425 Reviews

JBL is the best!

I bought 2 of these and power them with a Crown XTi 4002 in stereo mode. The Crown amp powers them perfectly. They sound really nice and clear with lots of bass punch. I have plenty of headroom and at just half volume on the amp they are pretty loud. I would like 4 lock wheels on them, but that isn't a deal breaker.

What JBL speakers will replace JBL K130's in a Sunn 200S bass amp? 2cabinets, 2 K130's in each, 8 ohms=1cabinet,,4 ohms=2cabinets. The amp is 400watts.

Asked by: Johnnieboy
Hello Johnnie, a nice replacement for the JBL K130s is the the JBL 2226H/J, which is a 15" transducer that can handle up to 600W of power at 8 ohms. For the 4 ohm configuration, the JBL 2226G would be a good option. These products aren't sold on JBL.com, but if you contact our service and support team, you might be able to purchase directly through us.

how do i mount the jbl prx-425 to a flat wall. They are the front L/R speakers in a church. Ceiling is to high and nothing but flat wall floor to ceiling?

Asked by: Jim209
Permanently mounting JBL PRX425 is easily managed via twelve built-in M10 suspension points constructed from 14 gauge steel. These have been tested with a yield-strength of 1000 pounds, each ensuring a safe and secure mount. For more information, please reach out to our Professional Division.
