Convenient and Easy to Use

I've been very satisfied with the BBH-100. It has proved very easy to use and saves a lot of time in adjusting. I have been able to set up shots much faster and the rapid level system has saved me loads of time re-leveling my camera. The adjustments are firm and don't come loose easily, but are easy to undo. I would highly recommend this ball head for Vanguard tripod users.

This product is well constructed with quality materials. I did note at least one review claiming it was poorly made but it is my impression the problem is the user, not the product. This ballhead serves my purpose well.

While this head would not wiggle in windy conditions, it is important to stay within the load capacity of the head for the best stability.

Will the Kirk BH-1P Pouch fit this ballhead? I am certain that it will fit vertically, but I am not too sure if it would fit horizontally. The BBH-100 ballhead is much wider than it appears, once the knobs are taken into consideration. If the Kirk won't fit, what other recommendations might you have?

Can I mount this ballhead on a Manfrotto 055XPROB tripod?

The Vanguard BBH-100 Ballhead is compatible with the Manfrotto 055XPROB legs. The Manfrotto 055XPROB legs have a 3/8-16 mount thread, as does the Vanguard BBH-100. The Vanguard also comes with a reducer bushing should you want to mount it onto a set of legs/monopod with 1/4-20 thread.

According to Vanguard, the Vanguard BBH-100 Ballhead uses the Vangaurd QS-60 plate which they say is an "Arca-Type Compatible Dovetail Plate."
