I have 3 of these and use them all the time. They let me mount my cameras to a mic stand. I have use them to mount my DJI RS3 on a special short mic stand so I could put it in a corner and control it with my phone. I can even use them to mount my small light on a mic stand which give me greater flexibility than a regular light stand.

This is an all metal conversion from a stage mic stand (the larger of the two most common sizes) to a mount for a video mic (smaller of the two most common sizes). This allows for a cheap alternative boom mic stand for video as well as opening opportunities for other versatile setups.

question

What are the dimensions of this adapter? Specifically the diameter of the mic screw end.
Asked by: M I
This adapter features a 1/4 male threading and a female 5/8 threading for attaching many camera accessories to a standard 5/8 threaded mic stand.
