Watson AA-SPC overview

  • 1Description

The C Spacer Pack with 2 AA NiMH Batteries from Watson provides you with two identical plastic spacers and two 1.2V, 2300mAh batteries. Each spacer is the size of a C battery. One AA slides into the spacer, which can then be inserted into any device that accepts C batteries--effectively turning your AA into a C. The spacers will accept any AA battery.

The included AAs feature a higher charge capacity than ordinary nickel-cadmium batteries. They drain themselves completely of their capacity before recharging, ensuring that they don't develop memory effect--so that their full capacity continues to be usable after each charge. The AAs are rechargeable up to 1000 times, environmentally friendly, and free of both mercury and cadmium.

    Watson AA-SPC reviews

C Spacer Pack with 2 AA NiMH Batteries (1.2V, 2300mAh) is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from not too impressed I got these to use in a cat toy that took 3 C cell batteries. Charged for the time specified and put them into the toy, not a lot of movement, maybe the AA 2300 mha are not enough to power this toy. The Duracell C cells moved it a lot faster than these AA, but they were not rechargeable. I am going to try again, it did say it may take 2-3 chargings to reach full potential for these batteries. My opinion my be bumped up in the future. The concept is good. turning AA into c cell.AA are cheaper and I have other things to use them in besides the cat toy. I may use them in my camera.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good option You are sometimes in need of C batteries. I have tons of AA batteries but do not use C batteries often enough. I realize you won't get the same power output with c spacers than to use actual C batteries,, but for now,, good enough

Rated 3 out of 5 by from be careful of the spacer The spacers are OK but the batteries are a loose fit. Easy for them to get out of place.
