The TC-L55WT50 55" VIERA HD 3D LED TV from Panasonic includes a 1080p IPS LED panel with 3D compatibility and 1920 backlight scanning for improved performance in fast motion scenes. The picture quality on the TC-L55WT50 is excellent with strong black levels, a high contrast and superb color performance. The TC-L55WT50 has full HD active 3D, which means it shows full 1080p images to each eye for each frame of 3D content. This increases detail and picture depth in the TV.
The TC-L55WT50 has a very modern appearance, from the front; the panel glass looks like it goes all the way to the edge, thanks to a very slim bezel. The unit is brushed with metal accents on the side of the panel so it matches the ultra-modern, curved, two legged stand. There is also a bit of clear acrylic accenting at the bottom of the bezel to really bring everything together.
