Celestron SkyProdigy 102 Computerized Telescope

The SkyProdigy 102 Computerized Telescope from Celestron is designed for people without any prior knowledge of astronomy or telescopes. The SkyProdigy will simply "look" up to the sky to self-determine its position and alignment. An internal camera automatically captures 3 images of the sky which it processes to identify the night sky and align the telescope accordingly. It just doesn't get any more straightforward than this. An eye-opening tour of the best objects to view in the local sky is available via the Sky Tour option. The Tour accesses over 4,000 celestial objects using SkyProdigy's internal database.

The SkyProdigy system combines electronic motors, an intelligent on-board computer, a digital camera and Celestron's StarSense technology. The telescope user does not need to do any positioning or aligning. This is an automatic, instant-alignment telescope. Turn it on, push the button and enjoy the galactic gems! This SkyProdigy is a Refractor with a 4" / 102mm aperture and a focal length of 660mm. Two eyepieces are included - one 25mm as well as a 9.0mm. The mounting platform incorporates a sturdy aluminum tripod with a motorized and computerized altazimuth mount. The SkyX First Light Edition astronomy software is included.
