The Magic Wand Portable Scanner With 1.0" Color LCD from VuPoint Solutions takes portable to the next level. Building on previous models, the new Magic Wand Scanner features a 1.0" color LCD that allows you to review your scans and zoom in up to 8x. Additionally, the Wand features a high-speed sensor which allows for a quicker and smoother scanning process. As with the previous models, the scans are stored on a microSD card (sold separately), allowing you to take the convenience of a scanner anywhere you go. Instead of having to photocopy books or articles at the library, simply bring along the Magic Wand and slide it along the relevant text - as large as 8.35x98.0" per scan - and save it for later retrieval.
The scanner runs on standard AA batteries and lasts approximately 200 scans before needing to be replaced. When you get home, simply attach the Magic Wand to your computer using the provided USB cable. Once the images are on your computer, you can use the included ABBYY OCR software to convert your scanned images into editable text. When not using the scanner, store it in the included pouch.
