I just got Evolution 6. Would this be the case for the tube and mount or do I need the 94003?
I just bought the Evolution 6 and the recommended case #94003 is too small. I've contacted support to see if this one will be ok.

Will this fit an assembled Celestron, NexStar 8SE? Is there enough room for accessories?
The case for the NexStar 8/9.25/11 is compatible with the NexStar 8SE (mount and optical tube) and telescope accessories. It is not large enough to hold the tripod.

Can I use it with Celestron's 1100 Edge HD with the finder scope left on or must it be removed?
The JMI case is not necessary for this OTA. The Celestron 1100 Edge HD ** Will ** fit in this case but you will probabaly have to remove the finder scope. You will also have to remove the two removeable layers of foam at the base of the case.

An 11 inch optical tube will fit, but not the tube and the mount.

How well does this protect the scope inside? Like ...
How well does this protect the scope inside? Like if one wanted to check this case on a fight and it got tossed about by the baggage handlers, would the case and the scope inside likely get damaged?
While the case will protect the optical tubes during normal transport, for check-in luggage, if tossed or if heavy luggage is stacked on top, damage may occur to the optical tube and the secondary mirror may become misaligned (out of collimation).

Will the evolution 9.25 optical tube and motorized mount fit in this case?
I think it will fit the scope but not the mount, but I cant tell for sure because I cant find the size specifications on that scope. Your best bet is probably to email Celestron to make sure.
