Mace MPR-HQ8LE Overview

The MacePro MPR-HQ8LE 8-Channel Surveillance DVR (Lite Edition/1 TB) is a reliable Linux-based unit that meets the growing needs of demanding mission critical applications. It allows you to record real-time CIF resolution videos from up to 8 network-based cameras at 30 fps per camera for high-quality imagery. In addition, G.711 audio capabilities allow you to capture high quality synchronized audio along with the recorded footage.

Pentaplex operation in this DVR ensures smooth and efficient operation even while simultaneously dealing with live viewing, recording, playback viewing, backup, and remote access functions. Multiple record modes like continuous, scheduled, motion detection, etc. allow you to easily configure your security system to record based on your requirements. Save on storage space with H.264 compression technology in this DVR, which also minimizes bandwidth requirements for operations.

Local high-definition ports let you connect the 8-Channel DVR to a HD display to monitor video feeds and perform administrative tasks. Capable of self-monitoring, the MPR-HQ8LE DVR sends email alerts to first responders in case of a critical event. Privacy masking allows you to hide up to 4 sensitive areas (per camera) from being displayed on the monitoring screen.

With the Mace VMS multi-client software, you can easily manage and monitor footage from a centralized location within your network. It features remote web interface controls that let you control the DVR from another location. Remote viewing of live video feeds is also possible via a compatible Web browser. You can even watch recorded videos on your iOS, Android, and BlackBerry smartphones to keep an eye on your surveillance area while on the go.
