Employing many of the optical components found in premium spotting scopes, the 10x42 Legend Ultra HD Tactical Monocular (Tan) from Bushnell delivers bright, sharp imagery in a compact, waterproof design. The ED Prime extra low-dispersion glass, fully multi-coated optics, and BAK4 prisms capture the visual moment with vivid clarity and contrast, even in low-light conditions. Patented Rainguard HD, a permanent, water-repellent coating, causes moisture from rain, snow, sleet, or condensation to bead up, scattering less light and delivering a clear, bright view. The magnesium housing is O-ring sealed and purged with bone-dry nitrogen to ensure waterproof, fogproof performance. The built-in Picatinny rail accepts a variety of lights and tactical sights. This monocular has the Mil-Hash reticle for tactical, law enforcement, and other long-range shooting applications.

10x42 Legend Ultra HD Tactical Monocular (Tan) is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 27.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid piece of kit! I have wanted a small portable optic with a mead Reticle for some time. The options were few and quite expensive. While doing research I found the Legend monocular and was astonished at the price. Usually with optics, you get what you pay for. Not so here. With a price of around $, I found that this was not only affordable, but of surprising quality. The optics are clean all the way to the edge and the Reticle is well marked and usable. I will be using the optic in training with Police and Military special operations personnel. The only negative that I can come up with on the optic is that the focus knob is stiff and a bit difficult to turn. For the price, it can't be beat.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from design excellence before purchasing a compact monocular I researched and read many reviews. Buyers concerns included lens caps, ease of focusing, carry cases and straps and quality of construction. Although the Bushnell narratives do no hype these features, when I recieved my Legend Ultra HD Monocular, I was pleasantly surprised to find a teathered lens cap for the eyepiece and a flip up lens cap for the objective lens. Focusing can be done quickly with one finger, either left or right handed. The Legend Ultra comes with a built in belt clip and an adjustable neck strap. The carry case has built in belt loops and the cover flap seals and clips securely in place. There are many compact monoculars to choose from. Many less expensive and many more expensive. I am glad I got this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I needed This monocular was bought for personal use because I cannot use binoculars due to an eye alignment issue. With great optics and wonderful single handed ease of use this instrument has opened an entire new dimension of objects distant from me. All additional items like belt clip, support strap and lens covers were included and the adjustable eye piece is a real help for those who wear spectacles. The enclosed instruction book lacks a labelled diagram and I found some confusion with the instruction for correct focussing. Even with that minor concern the unit meets all my needs in a most brilliant fashion.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I wanted. This products is great for me. It takes up less space in my pack. The quality is evident in the clarity and the light gathering is great. It is very easy to hold and scan. I did not expect the great snap close objective lens cover and was impressed since it is not pictured. The eye reticle has the standard cover but is attached in a very good way not to interfere with usage and since it is attached it is aways there to proptect your investment.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice! I have just recently got this Monocular, since I travel a lot for work I wanted something compact. It feels solid and the image is clear, I had a wow come out of me when I tried it for the first time on 34th street. I like the functionality of the lens caps and the belt clip. The things that bother me are- its not as small as I thought it would be and you do need a steady hand with a 10x monocular. A very good product over all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from nice piece of optical technology once you receive it and use it, you will see you got your money's worth. great OPtics: clarity, brightness (light gathering) and ergonomics: both control and feel in your hand(s). Large pouch kinda silly, but after a week, it turned out (for me) the carrying case fit in a tied down position on a motorcycle as if it was made for that.... nothing negative to say.... I love having a lense that can optimize naked eye OR sunglasses...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great monocular I have bought and used numerous monoculars. Always trying to find one that is as good quality as binoculars, but half the size. This fits the bill. It's small enough to easily carry and has superb clarity even in low light. So far I haven't had any issues with fogging and build quality is up there with much more expensive pieces. In short its quality for the money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quite happy Happy with image quality, fit, finish, belt clip, focus roller, etc. The front lens cap is on a hinge, great. Rear one is on a string and quite loose and always comes off.
