The CLA-3 (Native) from Waves is a plug-in modeled after a famous, early 70's solid-state compressor, originally known for its unique and highly transparent compression curve. Features of the original included a quick response and the subtle harmonic distortion, both of which are faithfully recreated in the software version. The plug-in is especially useful on bass, as well as on guitars and vocals.
