Waves PAZ Analyzer Overview

The PAZ Analyzer TDM from Waves is an accurate and easy to use real-time analyzer plug-in that generates a comprehensive visual representation of the audio's stereo positioning, frequency spread, and Peak/RMS levels.

Three plug-in components - position, frequency, and meter
Peak or RMS frequency analysis modes
L/R peak and RMS displays, with individually resettable peak hold values
Optional resolution in 10 Hz steps for precise analysis below 250 Hz
52- or 68-band analysis
Real-time vector display with zoom
Save the graphic output to memory
Save results as text files
Up to 24-bit/192 kHz resolution
Mono and stereo components
Controls
  • LF Resolution - 40, 20 and 10 Hz
  • Weight - unweighted, dBA, dBB or dBC
  • Freeze - freezes the display
  • Show - L and R independently, or L+R (summed)
  • Peak Hold - on/off
  • Clear - clears the peak hold
  • Detect - peak or RMS
  • Response - 50 ms to 5,000 ms
  • Frequency Gain Graph - -80 dB to 0 dB, 6 Hz to 20,660 Hz
  • Navigate - scrolls the screen when zoomed in
  • Zoom - horizontal and vertical +/-
  • Reset Zoom
  • Phase Graph - -80 dB to 0 dB, -90° to +90°
  • Output Meter - L/R peak meter -40 dB to 0 dB with peak hold and clip indicators
  • Summed Loudness Meter - (L + R -6 dB) -40 dB to 0 dB
