Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great For The Price This cable feels solid and performs well for bag use. Perfect for booming with bag set-up ENG style location sound recording. I'm 6'2 with an ape index of about +1 and can comfortably have my arms completely extended while booming with this coiled cable. The audio quality is great for the price and I feel comfortable using this cable at work. The xlr end and angled end aren't very small but a little bigger than average which is the one thing that't not great about it. Still fits comfortable in the inputs of my SD mixers. Haven't had my cable a long time but it's in great shape after a few months. Totally worth the price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for ENG, Run and Gun One comment -- it's a pigtail XLR that's LONG enough. Easy to carry on camera. Easy to pull off and extend for interviews, especially when working with a reporter or second person. Who needs a wireless if you don't NEED the wireless for the story or the interview and can use this. Extra flexibility and length also allows cameraman to position the microphone to more easily crop it out of the picture.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beefy Connector If you are recording with a mic on a boom that has an XLR connector on the butt end of the pole, this cable is for you. The right angle female XLR has a very beefy connector, good for resting the pole on the ground. I much prefer this cable to others I have owned which had fragile right angles that would get noisy and then fail. Great for a location mixer on the run.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from One Size Almost Fits All. Great cord. Solid connection. I just used this on a shoulder rig, where my mic was on top of the camera. Maybe slightly too long for that, but overall did not get in my way while filming. The range of use for this cord is great! About as close as you can get to a one size fits all.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So good for booming. When you're booming for yourself and mixing, this is the cable to have for sure. It's not dragging around after you, because you know if you can't convince production to shell out for a boom op, you're absolutely not going to have a cable wrangler.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice cable I had to replace another brand coiled cable which became unuseable. This cable is solid, well built and high quality. Ive bought other Kopul cables and am very satisfied with them.
