Was this suposed to come with an adapter just like the vello lhc es62? I cant attach a hood on my canon efs 22mm 2.8.
This lens hood is for the full frame Canon EF 28mm f/2.8 lens. It is not designed to work with the EF-S 24mm f/2.8 STM lens. For the EF-S STM lens, you would need to go with the same lens hood that the 40mm f/2.8: ES-52.

In the product highlights, it says it works with the Canon EF 24mm f/2.8 Lens Original version only? What does it mean by 'original version' only? Does that mean it only works with EF lens and not the EF-S?
Correct it is for the EF24mm f/2.8 https://bhpho.to/2WoWZyv. It is not for use with the EF-S 24mm f/2.8.
