I got this for my guitar amp and I regret it. It was so hard to loosen the base and when I finally did, I was unable to tighten it. I'm not sure if mine is just defective but it's essentially unusable now. I'd spend the extra money and get a better amp stand.
Perfect size and weight.

What a difference using a small stand for my kick drum. Less space taken makes it all worth it. Small but excellent balance to hold any mike. Much better than a regular size stand that always seemed to get in the way.
