The Hitech 6 x 6" 82A Filter is a color conversion filter that helps to slightly increase color temperatures and provide a cooling effect. The 82A filter removes the yellow and red light cast that commonly occurs in the morning and evening hours. It provides an increase of about 200K, helping to subdue the light casts when photographing with 100W or less tungsten illumination.
There is a 1.3x filter factor with this filter, requiring an increase of 0.3 stop for normal exposure. It measures 6 x 6" / 152.4 x 152.4mm and is constructed out of CR-39 dyed resin.
