question

Can this unit accommodate an Asus 15.6 inch lap top computer?
Asked by: Harvey
Hi Harvey,This pixel sunscreen could most definitely accommodate an Asus 15.6 laptop. I do use this unit, but I more frequently use a visor that fits over the computor screen because it packs smaller and lets in less light.Ben

Is it open on both sides for cables to attach? Looks like it's just one side
Asked by: Adam
It opens on BOTH sides exactly the way the left side is shown in the photo. Hope this helps.

question

How does it attach to the video stand and tripod?
Asked by: Diego A.
I sent it back because the hood has a fabric bottom that only slides between the bottom of the laptop and the flat computer platform. I do most of my shooting on location, often under breezy conditions. The hood would clearly have acted like a sail and lifted the laptop right off the platform, crashing it to the ground. This really only works in a windless studio.
