You can record your footage directly to the camcorder's SD/SDHC/SDXC memory card slot, which can support up to 64GB memory cards. The HC-V100E features a convenient 2.7" LCD display monitor with control features for recording and playback. It also features a mini HDMI output for playing back footage in Full HD on your compatible HDTV.
The HC-V100E has a high sensitivity MOS image sensor, interlaced recording ability at 50 frames per second (fps) and progressive recording ability at 960 x 540 resolution (25 fps). The camcorder also has a lengthy list of shot-enhancing features. This list includes Power Optical Image Stabilization (O.I.S.) with Active Mode, 34x Optical Zoom, 42x Intelligent Zoom and a 32.5 mm wide-angle Panasonic lens.
