This converts the mono input from the xlr to the stereo input jack of a camera, but will it also work in the other direction? Will it convert the stereo output from a laptop microphone jack to a mono xlr input (i.e. both stereo channels translating to the one mono channel input)?
I think that is how I used it (a long time ago).
